After the huge Bradley win tonight, we've all but locked up staying out of Thursday now! Now if we can win our next two games, we WILL finish 3rd in the Valley. Sure that's a tall order, but after tonight, anything is possible!

If so we have the tiebreaker now with the most points.
We'd have to win out and ISU would have to lose 2 out of 3...They have road games against Evansville and SIU, and a home game against Creighton...
If they somehow lost at Evansville tomorrow, things could get very, very interesting....Go Aces.

Creighton would have to beat ISU on senior night, which I don't see happening. Creighton at home v. the road is like Bradley a few years ago - a completely different team.
We control our own destiny to 3rd place though. That's pretty amazing considering we started out 1-5!
If by some chance we did tie ISU, we would definitely have more tiebreaker points ... oh how that Wichita game still comes back to bite us!Go Braves!

Either way we would be in the same bracket w/ ISU but would much rather be playing NIU then Creighton in that first game.
The way the Valley is shaping up this year anyone could make it to the finals but at this point I would have to say that the top dogs are still SIU, BU, Creighton, ISU and/or DU even though they were the regular season champs, then NI, MS and then the rest in any order. my reasoning in picking the order isn't disrespecting DU as I have really enjoyed them and think that BU and DU are a very close match which has been proven w/ the 2 games played but I say that because of the experiience those 1st 3 teams have having been their so much over the years compared to the other schools. Should be an interesting weekend.

My Ideal seeding is:
1)DU
2)BU or ISU
3)BU or ISU
4)SIU
5)CU
6)InSt
7)UNI
Mo ST
9)Wichita St
10)E-Ville
I want to avoid CU a 3rd time in three weeks and SIU on their "home" court. I will count on the Trees being the trees away from Hulman and the Birds going into their ten-minute funk that allows us to get to Sunday vs. Whoever.

In response to chitown - I want nothing to do with ISU in St. Louis. They're deep, they have good bigs, and they have the best player in the league.Onward and Upward!

Ideally, the #2 seed would be the best position. However too many things have to happen for that to be reality.
In my opinion, I would like to be on the top half of the bracket and be in the 4/5 game against Creighton with Drake lurking. Neither of these opponents have an inside game. SIU's strength is on the frontcourt and ISU has a better one than BU.1996 & 2019

ISU vs Bradley is always and will be especially if we meet in the Tourney a special and probably a very hard fought game that will come down to the last shot. I'd rather play ISU in the championship game and let them beat DU to go that far. After last night it showed that there is not a real dominate team in the Valley this year. I'm not disrespecting DU but they do not scare the h$() out of me."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

Let's just get 2nd and spend the 2nd game of the night session celebrating.

I don't know what my ideal seeding would be because I really want to avoid Creighton or SIU in the first round in a 4/5 game if possible (Indiana State or UNI would be a much easier game), but I think Drake would be the better match-up for us in the 2nd round as opposed to facing ISU.
