  • Accept my forgivness Bradley Bigs!!!!!

What a collective effort by Sam S, Rashad A, and especially Theron Wilson and Matt Salley!

I don't know what the final stats were but they played their A$$E$ off tonight and deserve a lot of the credit for an incredible WIN!!!!!!!!

Our team had every reason to fold down the stretch but never did.

JC had his finest game as a Brave and deserves a TON of credit, but it was the work around the hoop by our BIGS that won the game.

I have been as hard on Matt Salley as anyone, but he has stepped up the last two games when we have needed him!

    GREAT JOB BU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coach Les must have had some individual talk with them before the Creighton game. I am really starting to like Austin.
    Can we start winning soon?

I heard on the pregame that Salley was I think 5th or 6th in the league for RPG.

        Would never have guessed that.
A real fan celebrates the successes, but also acknowledges the failures of his team.

Matt Salley has played a ton lately and I would just like for him to be complimented on his tremendous improvement as we need you to continue to play good as this team depends on your hard work on defense and on the boards.

I don't consider Theron a "big" because he is a true 3. However I totally agree that MS and RA have played great lately, especially the times they were in the game together. I consider myself Matt Salley's biggest critic and even posted a thread about him 2 weeks ago where I said I'd rather not have him on the team...which was a bit exaggerated, but I was very frustrated with his play.

Fact is, Salley has put together 4 solid games in a row. His improvement actually started with the Wichita St. game on the road, but he has been noticably better the past 4 games. He came down with some big rebounds and played more aggressively around the basket. Tonight I feel he got us off to a great start with that 3 point play and continued to be tough on the boards all night. He has proven me wrong and I hope he can keep up this above average play!
