Thanks for the update, hopefully he makes a full recovery and is back soon, he's really developed this year and we need him in St. Louis.

I don't know if you want to share this publicly or not Naptown, but is there a best-case/worst-case timetable for AW's return? Obviously we're all hoping for the best!

Tornado posted something similar yesterday, but here's a picture of a fractured 2nd metacarpal and a 5 hole plate being inserted. I'm guessing AW's is similar.

Have they considered just putting on one of those huge soft casts like they do in football with no fingers or hand at all and let him just go start bangin down low.....

            Go luck ADub...heal quickly.....

Not really sure yet on how soon he could return, it really depends how soon he heals. But let's all hope for a fast recovery!

They put a plate in his hand? I'm willing to bet he's out for the season.

I second the thanks and well wishes...and I want to add a bit more...
I have had a little chance on a few occasions to talk with Andrew and to meet and talk with a couple members of his family at the
post season banquet last year, and I want to say again how much I admire Andrew as a great young man of high integrity and work ethic, well spoken and a very fine family as well.
I consider it a great privilege to have met you and think the BU basketball community is blessed to have such a fine young man at BU.
I hope his career really takes off and he has as Anthony-Parker-like junior season, but I sure would still like to see Andrew make it back before the end of this season.

Thanks for the update Naptown. Like everyone else, I wish him the best and hope we can see him back before the year is over. However I know the docs will make the right choice and not rush him back if he's not ready or the injury hasn't healed properly.

Naptown thanks for the update. I agree with PTH let's not rush him. As much as we need him now we'll need him more for the next two years. Let it properly heal. This could take around 4 weeks to heal and then he'll have to do a little rehab on it to fully get it in playing condition.
