  • Bradley Band Sheet Music

Does anyone know where to find a copy of the music the band plays at the games?

My son plays the trombone in his junior high band and was asking about it this weekend. He loves Bradley basketball and we listen to the 97-98 band cd all the time.

As a former basketball band member, and current student, I must admit that getting all the Basketball Band sheet music would be a difficult task. I played 2nd part trumpet, and I had a binder of music with 200+ sheets of music in it with more being added all the time. These sheets are numbered and we would be signaled a number to indicate which song we were to play. For instance, the fight song is #5. Obviously, many of these songs are not played anymore, however they still remain in the book incase it is requested for some reason. However, if you are interested in locating sheet music for things such as the fight song, alma mater, etc, I would suggest emailing Dr Vroman (Director of Basketball Band) directly. PM me for his email, and if anyone can get you a copy he can.

I actually play 1st trombone in the band. Let me know which ones you'd like!

Can either of you get Dr Vroman to get "Swing MArch" on its new CD? And where is the new CD???He's been "working"on it for 3 years. We've got all the other songs from the old CD...but no Swing MArch. Heck, I'd even take an MP3 just of Swing March for the ride down to St. Louis. Please help me out.

As for the CD, i know we did recordings at least twice in two different years... So as to the hold up, I could not venture a guess. (And yes, the swing march was recorded at least once)

Does anyone have a rogue copy of Swing March as performed by the Bradley basketball band. The Mancini version is not what I'm looking for...only the BU version will do. Nothing fires me up more than Swing March!

I would also be interested in any copy of Swing March performed by the BU Basketball band. Please PM me if you have it. Thanks!
