I also noticed on the shot that got goaltended he adjusted much better going to the hoop than he did earlier in the year. He put the shot up with much softer touch. Earlier in the year when he played it seemed like he'd get to the hoop and then throw it way too hard off the glass. He had no control and was trying to do too much. So I realize it was just one shot, and it didn't actually go in, but it was a good sign to me.

And like you, thefish, I might just be looking for any positive signs/news I can come up with.

The major problem I have with this lineup is 2 point guards trying to rebound and defend much larger players plus we don"t want to wear down our guards by playing them too many minutes ; Maniscalco deserves to start but I believe he is more valuable coming off the bench; I would rather start Austin because our bigs are going to have to give us more minutes and Cole-Scott it is time for you to show everybody that you are a lot better player then you have shown so far.
I think this is the lineup that makes the most sense against Drake...There is no way that we would want to start Salley and Austin in that game or have two bigs on the floor at the same time very much...Drake is undersized, they spread the floor, and their bigs don't play in the paint all that much. If BU started a 2nd big (Austin or Singh) against Drake, he would have to be chasing Korver around on the perimeter, and that would be a disaster...Theron or Crouch are far better suited to do that...
But against SIU and Creighton it might make sense to start two bigs or at least have them on the floor a significant portion of the time.

pfunk, my thoughts exactly. I just wonder if the layup would have gone in,
had it not have been goaltended. I watched it on TIVO and could not tell.
I also believe C-S has made 3 of his last 7 3pt attempts.
Maybe he is finally playing within the game?
I think it is important that when Cole-Scott is in, Ruffin be in also.
He seems to calm C-S down, takes the Juco out of him!

Here's to TCS hopefully having a full family reunion in Des Moines from Waterloo LOL. Talk about perfect timing for Warrens injury and for TCS to get playing time again. Hopefully that will give him some extra umph to perform.

Drake opened as 7 point favorites, and it's now 6.5 points--

                Just for the record....

                I want to post a huge .....

                CONGRATULATIONS BULLDOGS

to the Drake team and fans, as it has been so very long, and I think they really deserve the accolades for such a fine season and regular season championship in the MVC.
What a story, and it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of kids and fans.

Now......having said that, I hope the rest their starters and play a lot of subs as they really don't have as much reason to win tonight's game as Bradley has!!
                ( )

                GO Braves!

It should be interesting to see how Drake responds, after having clinched the title.

On the one hand, they should be very loose, as there is little riding on the game for the 'dogs.

On the other hand, they're playing for the highest seed possible in the NCAA tournament.

The way this group of guys has played this season, I don't expect tonight's effort to be any different than all season....these guys have really been on an even keel all year.

This will sound cliche....but, as good as this team is on the court, they're even better off the court. All 5 starters carry a 3.0+ gpa, and are the kind of guys I'd let my 19 year old daughter socialize with.

T....will you be at the game tonight?

                    I completely agree!

By the way, TCS has made 2 of his last 3 3pt attempts, 3 of his last 6, and 4 of his last 8.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

I will not, but Da Coach is already in transit and will be there.
I suspect he will be one of the guys in red by the BU bench, but if you send him
a PM (private message) he has his laptop and will likely be happy to tell you where he'll be and say hi.

Keys to the game for Bradley to win:
                        1) Keep Drake below 8 3 point baskets
                        2) rebound
                        3)Make at least 9 3 point baskets
4)Bench needs to score at least 16 points
                        5)keep Drake below 72 points
                        6) stay out of foul trouble because we are playing a man short

And as we learned from Indiana State:
Avoid long, long stretches where nobody can hit the broad side of a barn.

                            Thanks John Madden....buuuurn
                            haha just kidding
i personally think the key is
Bradley needs to accomodate for AW being out. So Crouch needs to step up his shooting. Sammy Man needs to keep being fantastic. And ruff needs to be good ol' RUff

well now that I sound like i know less about sports than I already don't know...I'm going to go get ready to watch the game

                            let's go braves!!!!
Gloria: Who's side are you on?
Jay: She's my daughter, you're my wife. Let's remember what's important, there's a football game on today

This has been one of the worse one sided ref jobs I have seen in a long time, if it wasn"t for that we would be ahead by at least 8 points, Pollard and Kissinger should be wearing Drake jerseys.

Pollard has already cost us at least 1 game this season. Before this season I didn't realize that there was such a shortage of refs and that BU would have the some of the same refs working multiple games they played in. Pretty much sucked. Anyway GREAT WIN BY THE BRAVES!!!!
