Out of the blue - my wife just presented to me a copy of this on 45!

    Made my freakin day!

Anybody else (besides DC or T) have a copy?

I've got a copy on an old cassette made during my college days (there are probably some on this board that don't even know what a cassette or 45 are )

This song is also on the Victory, Honor, & Glory CD Rom (along with some GREAT video clips from that year. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, the memories

Yes, I do have a copy on my old jukebox.

I looked it up and found a place that sells this record if anyone has to have one. I occasionally see a copy at a garage sale or a flea market.--

Be careful what you wish for. The next avatar may not be so pleasing to the eyes

I know I still have a copy at my parents house on 45. I don't however, have a record player to play it on. I would be willing to give my 45 to someone that can make a CD out of it if anyone is interested.

                Well... I PM'd Yahtzee.

But here is an update for him and anyone else interested.

I have a turntable and was able to connect it to my computer. I recorded it in MP3 format. Came out fine - even heard the vinyl pops before/after music played. Ahhhhhh.... the days of vinyl!

Anyway - had a small setback. Ran the turntable thru a mixing board into the computer hoping it would be allright. It was ok, but it only plays out one speaker. I knew I needed to run it thru an amp, but I could only transport the mixing board at the time. Tomorrow, I will transport the vinyl 45 to the amp where there is also a computer (plus turntable) and try again. I just hope I have all the needed hook-ups/patch cords, as I am not too excited about going to Radioshack. Anyway - I will update my success/failure tomorrow.

They will ask for your phone number. Don't give it to them.

Haha - thanks for the tip BradleyBrave. I never give it out and scold my wife when she does (at stores and such).

I hope Mac is able to pull this off. I used to "jam" in my room to that song while playing on the nerf hoop that went over my door. Can't tell you how many times I recreated Hawks shot against Drake on that hoop.

I have the files available. I PM'd yahtzee along with Da Coach. I can share this tune with anyone if they want to PM/email me. But maybe Da Coach can make it easier for everyone to get it.

The song "Yajusneverno" is copyrighted, and we cannot produce or distribute it here without permission. It was written by Tom Dermody (who happens to be a member of this board), but the copyright is owned by WMBD. The last time this discussion came up, Mr. Dermody PM'ed me and said he would try to see what WMBD could do for us to get the song out again, but it never went any further.

I am open to anything we could do to help, but we need WMBD to allow the song to be reproduced. If anyone wants the song, they must find it on their own.

Was this song associated with Bradley basketball in some way, I've never heard of it?

                              For the younger fans--
The song Yajusneverno, was written in 1986 for the Bradley 32-3 team that featured Jim Les, Hersey Hawkins and was coached by Dick Versace. It's title comes from a common saying by radio analyst Joe Stowell.

It was written by well-known Peoria song writer, Tom Dermody, and became very popular. It was issued on a 7" 45 RPM record, and sold a lot of copies around Peoria.
