They just got a commitment from their top recruiting target,
and one of the top players in the nation,
Tyler Smith who had been reported just a day ago as probably going to Cincinnati.

Here's a followup of Tyler Smith's committment from a year ago.
as many know, he committed to Tennessee first, then reneged there, then spent his freshman year at Iowa.
Now he looking to transfer out of Iowa due to the coaching change.

this is a premium article but it says,

"Tyler Smith is not excited about new Hawkeye coach Todd Lickliter's deliberate offensive system, nor is he excited about the prospect of being hundreds of miles from his seriously ill father"
Oddly, one of the places he may be looking to go to is Tennessee...
