Although nothing has been reported officially, the people on the premium board at Cincy believe they will not only sign Sikes soon, but that they will also land one other top target, and specifically they are hoping for Marvell Waithe.

Hmm. The talk of Waithe kind of makes me question what they're saying. Waithe has been said to 'not be DI ready' and a redshirt candidate at BU. Georgia went and got someone else instead of Waithe. Waithe has maintained that he wants to go somewhere where he can play right away. Cincy definitely would not fall under that category. I may be way off here, but their overinflated opinion of Waithe leads me to believe these people are purely speculating with no real knowledge. Maybe I am wrong.

If you read the chain of messages on this topic on the Cincy board, it really makes no sense how they came to the conclusion that Sikes is one of the guys that will sign with Cincy tomorrow...maybe there is something on the premium board that would give them this idea...but based on the content in this particular topic, it is laughable to follow along and see how they conclude that Sikes will sign tomorrow...
I'll summarize their wonderful, flawless logic, it goes something like this:

Post 1> Lance says that Cronin is going to announce 2 signings tomorrow...one is a big man

Post 2> I hope the big man is Sikes and not Hrycaniuk...

Post 3> Lance's blog says that the big man is Hrycaniuk

Post 4> Man, I was hoping they would sign Sikes

Post 5> The other signing could be Sikes...So, if it is Sikes and Hrycaniuk, that would be a good class...

Post 6> Cool, well I'm glad to hear that Sikes and Hrycaniuk will sign...that should be good.


So I guess the logic that they are using here is the Cincy transitive property..."If A sort of equals B, and if B doesn't really equal C at all, but it sure would be nice if it did, then A most definitely equals C"...

Apologies for my rambling, I just found it humorous that so much was deduced at the end of that message board thread with so little information actually being provided...

All that being said, I'm sure that Sikes and Hrycaniuk will be announced tomorrow as part of the Cincy recruiting class...
