Or is it remembering Tom Gramkows shot for the Titans, beating the Birds, the last time they played each other?

My question is, where is all the students? With a student population of close to 20,000 or more, that arena should easily have 10,000 fans a game. What is all these students doing? Going bowling at the rec area? Plenty of time to party and study after a 2 hr game. I just don't get it.

You can hear the radio calll of that game at Horton on WJBC.com. There are some other great historical radio broadcasts basketball and otherwise. It is worth a visit.

Do the Gramkows still live around Dunlap? I had their kids in school in my younger teaching days! Tom Gramkow is a great guy.

Tom and Jane live in Dunlap. He is a State Farm Agent in The Heights and an avid golfer. He regularly attends Titan B-ball games.
He still plays basketball at River City if his knees allow.I had the pleasure of guarding him in a game a couple of months ago. He ran me off three picks stopped and drained a three!
His son Ty, a former Dunlap and Monmouth football player lives in KC along with one of his sisters.
The other daughter lives in Peoria.
And yes, he really is a "great guy"'.
