Hey Da Coach or Tornado, could you post the remaining schedules for the teams we are fighting to keep out of the Thursday night games?

Thanks ER3. Looks like InSu is the one we need to worry about most. Maybe UNI, too.

Indiana St will lose to ISU and UNI. If they beat UNI, UNI is probably playing in. I think we're fine as far as Thursday goes. Heck, we could be in 3rd by the end of the day Saturday.

The problem is that we could be tied for third with a win over Creighton Saturday, and then we could very easily turn around and lose three in a row and be tied for 7th after the March 1st game...Such is the state of the mediocre Valley this year.
Gotta defend our home court on Saturday...Win that one and it makes the outlook for the tourney a whole lot better...lose it and we are in big, big trouble and staring at a Thursday night game.

Of those teams listed we have the toughest schedule by far, but if we take care of business at home and maybe sneak one of those two on the road we'll be allright. It's a tough stretch to end the season but we have the talent to beat these teams, I just hope it shows up.

I think Indiana State will beat Illinois State on Saturday.

I also think the Birds go down tomorrow, unfortunately for us, but as long as we win our two home games, we're safe.

Birds will go to Indy State and win on Saturday. Indy State allows way to many open shots, ISU has the interior depth to rebound and they are a team that is athletic enough to overcome a night of off shooting.

Not only do I think the Redbirds win... I am rooting for them. And not to help us, but to HELP THEMSELVES. THey need to pile up some wins, get to 13-5 in conference, top 40 rpi and get to Sunday in the MVCT and they could be looking at a possible at-large. And that would mean 2 teams from the MVC get in... and maybe 3 if someone else besides Drake (and ISU) wins the MVCT.

The MVC could go from a 1 bid league to a 3 bid league! So let's all rally around the MVC and start rooting for the Redbirds!

I know I'm probably in the minority but I could careless if the Redbirds get into the NCAA Tourney or not. I want them to win tomorrow because it helps us, but other then that they are our rival and I really don't want them to succeed unless it benefits us in some way.

The more teams the MVC gets in, the better it is for Bradley.

The more teams that make the NCAA Tournament and the more games it wins there, the more $$$ each conference member receives.

Also, the more conference members that make the NCAA, increases the possibility that Bradley gets into the NIT or CBI,.

I don't really know how that's good for Bradley. It makes the Valley look good but who cares I'd rather have the Valley be a 2-bid league than have ISU make the tournament. Actually I'd rather fall down the stairs on the way out tonight than have ISU make the tournament. Bradley isn't getting an NIT bid no matter how many Valley teams make the tourney unless we win three of the last four conference games and a game in the Valley tournament.
