  • Creighton Game/Tickets

I'm going to be in town for the Creighton game on Saturday. The best seats I could get through Ticketmaster (on the day they went on sale) was Section 19, row D. Is that a decent place to watch the game from? (I haven't been to Carver in 10 years, and never sat anywhere but the student section for a Bradley game.)

If not, does anyone have any extras I might be able to buy? I would need 2. Thanks.

A "decent" place depends on your perspective.

Ticketmaster should have had a seating chart for you to look at to see where your seats were located. Go to bubraves.com and click on "ticket information" and it will take you there as well.

I did see the seating chart before I bought them. They look to be behind the basket a ways back, which would not be my preference, but the best that were available.

I went up to the Fieldhouse today to buy additional tickets for Saturday. Tickets are selling out and less than 400 remain for Saturday afternoon's game.

FWIW I usually do not agree with Ticketmaster's "best available" at the PCC. In the past, at the ticket office, they could usually locate a closer seats that might not be at an angle that does not classify as the computer's "best available" (For instance: To me nose-bleed top row center court is not better than 10 rows up behind the basket.. But their computer puts a preference on center court.)

But if the "400 remaining statement" is accurate then their best available is probably about as good as it gets...

Sec 17 A-B-C are my fave seats.... but it has more to do with ease for me to get in and out of the arena. So I don't think 19 is all that bad.

The last seats to be sold are normally behind the baskets.

Just has to do with the 2 pricing blocks available in the upper bowl. Lowest-row upperbowl "endzone" is cheaper than top row center court. "Best Available" programming will always offer the most expensive tickets first, and that pricing upgrade may not always worth it, but people like to buy "Best Available"

For example, I paid more to get "better" Michigan St tickets that were 10 rows higher than the "cheaper" Creighton endzone tickets I got 3 sections away...
