  • MVC Player of the Week and NOW

Player of the Week- P'Allen Stinnett of Creighton

Newcomer of the Week- Booker Woodfox, also of Creighton

    MVC Weekly Notebook--

Daniel Ruffin is also mentioned, and he had a great week averaging 20.5 points, and 6 assists, but the fact that Bradley went 1-1 hurt his chances.

Stinnett has been on a tear lately, he was absolutely in the zone against UNI earlier this week and I'd say he deserves the award this week thanks to a 2-0 record. But Daniel had a great week nonetheless.

He did? He played well against MSU, but was awful in the 1st half against ISU and probably the 3rd or 4th best player on the court in the 2nd half. He was personally responsible for 6 of our 12 turnovers in the game. Even if we go 2-0 last week, I can't say that's a 'great' week by any stretch of the imagination.

I guess I should have clarified, I meant strictly stat-wise. I didn't think he even played that well against Missouri State to be honest, and his struggles at ISU cost us big time. Just goes to show how important he is to this team. He needs to step his play back up for the stretch run, and I have no doubt that Coach is telling him the same thing.

It is almost a shame he came back from his injury.. very disappointed in DR.. (not)

I had lunch with a long-time BU guy today and we were discussing this team... How many D-1 schools have a 5'10 165 lb player as their "stud" player?

DR does just fine, but he is hardly a star to be the man.. BU has a bunch of complimentary players and people want/expect them to be great...

          That isn't realistic IMO...

???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???
