  • Evansville's Holsinger breaks hand

Evansville's second leading scorer, Jason Holsinger is out with a broken right hand.--
The only good news is that Jason Holsinger is left-handed.  The bad news today is that the University of Evansville basketball standout will miss at least the next several games after suffering a fracture to his right hand late in Saturday night's game at Drake University.

The release states he will miss "miss at least the next several games".
Holsinger is the #9 leading scorer in the MVC, #4 nin assists, and #1 in minutes played.

That is really unfortunate. While I was glad to get 2 W's from them, I don't like seeing Evansville go through what they're going through this season. Although he is lefthanded, I would be surprised if he plays again this year.
    Onward and Upward!

Sorry to hear this but it can't really hurt the team.

How can you get any lower than last place?

This really hurts BU's chances of moving up in the Valley.
Evansville has home games left against Creighton, Illinois State, and UNI...and it would have been nice to get a couple wins from them in those games to help give us a better chance to stay out of 6th...and to give us a shot to move up to 3rd.
