"Rivalry Week"

I find it kind of humorous that ESPN has so many good rivalries on this week (UNC/Duke, the marquee) ... yet one of the best and most important rivalry games today is BU/ISU. And honestly, you can't really buy the argument that "nobody expected this to be a good game," like past seasons. Both teams were picked to finish high in the conference.

I guess they probably think it's a game between schools in Bloomington, Indiana and Peoria, Indiana.

Maybe they could get Kyle Whelliston out to one of our rivalry games, then it might get a little more respect than just locally.

I agree. I mean, I like the UNC/Duke rivalry (I watched it the other night, and it was a great game and great atmosphere). I also give kudos to ESPN for giving more air time to non-BCS conferences and teams. But come on! They are indeed missing probably one of the best non-BCS rivalries you'll ever see. And the BU/ISU rivalry rivals the best of the BCS rivalries.

Memo to ESPN: If you're looking for a highly watched game, show at least one of the BU/ISU games next season. One or both teams should be good again next year, so you should not have anything to worry about!
