  • BU-ISU winning streaks

Bradley has won the last six meetings with ISU, last losing on Feb.5, 2005, a night when ole Tim Hutchinson and crew whistled Patrick O'Bryant just about every time down the court, and hampered POB with foul trouble.
In that game, Patrick only had 6 pts, none from the line despite getting hammered whenever he touched the ball, as BU shot only 13 FT's (7-13), while ISU was 19-25 (19-23 in the 2nd half).
Tony Bennett also got whistled often as the refs seemingly wanted to be sure the ISU guards got to spend a lot of time on the FT line (Guidry & Greene were 15-17, while Ruff, Crouch, and Bennett shot a combined total of only two FT's).

    BUT...here is one remarkable fact.......
six is the 2nd longest winning streak in this series between BU and ISU.

Both teams have a 7-game streak.
ISU's streak was from 1982-1985, but Bradley's streak spanned 50 years!!!
Bradley won all games between the two teams from 1926 until 1975!!

Yeah...Grassman told me it was quite a streak. He said the games were incredible.

T are you sure! I was there from 83-87 and I do not remeber us losing to them but then again my memory for those years especially for the games is not that good!
