"2008 prospect A.J. Rompza possesses a game that silences those who questions his game.
...slick ballhandler, as well as strong passing abilities and extremely quick hands on the defensive end. He can do more on offensive than just dish off the ball, as he can hit the outside shot, as well as slip past the opponent if they step out too far. In his sophomore season, Rompza put up strong numbers, averaging over sixteen points, six assists and two steals a game for the 16-10 Whitney Young squad.
...Florida State, Wisconsin, Bradley and Illinois have been in contact."
Not that new. Here was a mention of it last week. Since Bradley has Sam Maniscalco (2007) signed, I suspect their interest in a guard like Rompza (200 is much less.
I'm all for a strong committment to Maniscalco. I loved watching his dad play--what a scrapper! I think it is more important to recruit and sign a "legacy", even if he may be slightly less talented than another recruit. This kind of loyalty comes back ten-fold..............and Les knows it. BU is striving to build a program built on Family and Loyalty; much like Dean Smith?Roy Williams at Carolina.
