  • Roman Gentry

I just found out Roman Gentry recently just visited the hilltop. Not much else to say about this but I figured it would be something people would find interesting

Bradley needs recruits that can be more help immediately. But it's still possible Gentry could end up at Bradley.

Gentry is a solid baller. But I question what position he can play. He played more in the post in high school, but has some inside/outside game. He's only 6'4", so he would need to play the 3. But hey, UNI had a similar situation in Erik Crawford, and he proved that he could play outside and shoot the rock (when healthy). There is some video of him at iowapreps.com, for what it's worth.

Actually he was 6'3.. and one of a kind, Dogs!
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

Roman Gentry would be a solid get for the final scholarship if we first had a guy like Sikes. We don't have that immediate impact guy yet.

On the premium message board of Iowapreps, a poster who reports to be a friend of Gentry's
says that Roman was visiting AT BRADLEY this past weekend, and when he returned to Iowa, told his friends that he liked Bradley and that Bradley was "close to offering".

Agreed. Let's get 'em in that order.....Sikes, then Gentry.

Yes but they all lie about their height and Hawk lied and told he was shorter....

Seen him play a couple times. Underwhelmed. A man without a college position.

                    Good luck.

                      Gentry to UW-Mil

Among Gentry's suitors were UW-Green Bay, Bradley and Southern California. Gentry had initially committed to Northern Iowa but backed out of that commitment early in his senior season.

Not a problem. He is pretty infamous to ISU fans....his name seemed to always pop up every couple of months and the list of other schools was always long and was always different.
