  • Former Bradley player Billy Wright

It seems like about once a year, the Indianapolis Star does a story about Billy Wright. Here is this year's--

Here is an article about Gavin Glinton-- he is signed with the San Jose Earthquake, but he is also playing in the FIFA World Cup qualifying series for his native country of Turks and Caicos--

I met Billy"s father years ago in Terre Haute at Larry Birds restaurant and he was a very nice guy who really cared about Bradley basketball; Billy looks like he has put on some lbs. since his college days.

Yeah, looks like Billy has been hanging out w/ my personal trainer LoL

That being said, it sounds like he's doing fairly well for himself...

But I question whether he aspires for more than just a high school position...

Why not come back to BU as an assistant if a position opens up?

Bily Wright, the head coach of Indianapolis Pike HS now has another top kid on his team,
Class of 2011 (presently a freshman) Marcus teague, brother of Jeff teague who is now a freshman at Wake Forest.

Here's a story on Marcus teague and all the top d-I offers he's already getting.

"Marcus Teague is a 6’0” 165 pound combo guard from perennial power, Pike High School
in Indianapolis, IN. The 2011 recruit currently plays his AAU basketball for the Spiece Indy Heat,
and has certainly caught the eyes of Illini head coach Bruce Weber."

"...Illinois has not offered Marcus, but Wake Forest has. Ohio State, Indiana and Purdue [have offered],
I’ve had some conversations with Kentucky as well as of late,” said Teague.

Marcus is a 2011 recruit and Weber is trying to put Illinois in the mix. For those who feel that offering
youngsters in the 9th grade is too early, just take a look at the programs that have already offered Marcus."
