  • Released from LOI

One of the nation's top point guards, Class of 2006,
Scott Reynolds, who had already signed a LOI last fall to Oklahoma has asked for and received the release from his LOI.
He is a 4-STAR PG out of Virginia, and now that Kelvin Sampson is at Indiana, look for Reynolds to go there.
Reynolds is the #5 rated PG nationally, a 35 ppg scorer, hits 50% from 3-point, but at 6'0" might not be able to convert to the SG at major college level.

    More bad news for Oklahoma.
Two more of their top recruits have asked for releases from the LOI's and are going elsewhere.

After Scottie Reynolds decided to go elsewhere, both Jeremy Mayfield and Damion Jones brought the total to 3 of their recruits now opting to leave and go elsewhere.

    In other LOI news,

St. Louis University has signed Adam Knollmeyer, a 6-8 forward from Missouri.

The top unsigned senior in the nation, Darrell Arthur (Parade Mag & McD AA), a Tyrus Thomas-like 6-9 athletic forward is now opening up his recruiting a bit more and visiting LSU. The reason is because Tyrus Thomas is declaring for the draft and will be gone next year, and Arthur, a very similar player, is hoping for a lot of immediate playing time and exposure. Previously, Kansas was the front runner in Arthur's recruiting.

Murray State's coaching change has cost them their top incoming recruit, as Brandon Evans has been granted release from his LOI.
