California sophomore forward Leon Powe will announce Wednesday he will make himself eligible for the NBA draft, but not hire an agent, Powe's mentor, Bernard Ward told ESPN.com's Andy Katz.

There is a big and growing list of players who are entering despite college eligibility remaining.
