The only thing that bothers me is -10 on the glass and giving up 14 offensive boards. Otherwise it looks good, only 13 turnovers and we shot well.
        Can we start winning soon?

Getting outscored 40 -14 in the paint is also disturbing but we shot the three well tonight to overcome this. We still need to shore up the inside game. It seems to be a little better. I like the way RA is playing. I think he may be a large contributor down the stretch.

most of the points in the paint were from the guards too.

I think it helped that Dyer didn't make a shot..he usually shoots close 50% I think and has done decent for them this year

Hopefully he isn't hurt too badly.

                Game story from BUBraves.com
PEORIA, Ill. -- Thanks to some help from junior forward Theron Wilson (Topeka, Kan./Highland Park H.S.), Bradley senior point guard Daniel Ruffin (Peoria, Ill./Peoria H.S.) made his return to action a triumphant one by contributing 11 points and two assists in 24 minutes off the bench, leading the Braves (10-10, 3-5 MVC) to a 76-75 Missouri Valley Conference men's basketball victory versus Interstate 74 rival Illinois State (14-5, 6-2 MVC) Wednesday night at Carver Arena.? Playing in front of the third-largest home crowd (11,421) in Bradley Basketball history, Bradley extended its winning streak in the series to six games, while surviving its third consecutive one-point decision.? Coming on the heels of a 69-68 loss a week ago to Valley leading Drake and a 77-76 win Saturday versus Evansville, a quick review of the Bradley record book did not reveal a previous occurrence of three straight one-point decision in Bradley's 104-year men's basketball history.

This article reports that this was the 3rd largest crowd in Carver history.

It also reprots that Slack's injury was diagnosed as a contusion, and not a fracture or dislocation. That's a lot better prognosis.

I'm not so sure we would of won this game if Slack wouldn't have got injured but then again that was before Ruffin came in I believe. Slack has really been the top dog for ISU the last couple games. The rebounding was woeful even with him out. If it's a deep contusion, which by the way it looked, it's probably the deepest contusion possible, he'll likely not be back for the road trip to ISU. Either way, this was a huge win and puts BU in a great position to move into 5th or higher within the next few games.
