  • Thesbian Andrews

I can't make this stuff up. Here's the Bradley release:

PEORIA, Ill. -- With his acrobatic play and engaging personality, Zach Andrews (Sacramento, Calif./Cordova H.S.) quickly became a crowd favorite of Bradley Basketball fans during the team???‚¬?„?s ride to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. Beginning this week, the 6-foot-8 junior will put his talents on the stage to the test by playing the role of Marcade in the Bradley University Theatre production of ???‚¬?“Love???‚¬?„?s Labor???‚¬?„?s Lost???‚¬?? by William Shakespeare.

I believe it should be thespian... not thesbian!
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

I believe it's 'Thespian' and not 'Thesbian'. Freudian slip?

It looks like I exposed my ignorance concerning theatre.

Or perhaps your fixation with another word that ends in 'esbian'.

I'm gonna call a few friends today and see if they have any interest in going. His participation was all over the 10:00 news/sports last night.

As a former Theatre Major at BU in the late 70s I encourage everyone to go support this. When I was there the Theatre consisted of a small warehouse building painted black that we could and did build staging and seating areas to our hearts content. The "new" theatre was just a dream while I was there. Perhaps much like a new basketball venue is now.

I just saw the Thursday night show, and I must say the entire performance went great. I think Zack's role is miscredited in the program, but he nonetheless did show up and made his presence known. Definitely a play to see, especially if you grew up in the 60's! (if that intrigues you, then I have done my job)

Sorry about that..........I guess it still shows how upsetting it is to be a Bears fans and sit through the entire draft watching them pick up player's no-other teams even considered on the 1st day of the draft?
