  • Super BONUS Pick-em for the ISU Game

Just a little different format, but the prize will be doubled if you win!!

You may need to do more than guess, as this one will require a little knowledge.
You must answer the THREE simple questions, then guess at the tiebreaker...
All who answer the first three questions will be considered "winners", BUT the award will go only to those among the winners who is closest to the tiebreaker!!
IF NOBODY WINS...the prize will STILL GO to the guy who I judge to have come the closest anyway or who hits the tiebreaker the closest!!

Since Jeremy Crouch is closing in on the 1000 point club at Bradley, and since he needs only 22 more points ( he presently has 978 ), the first two questions center on BU's 1000 point club members.

    Question #1......
Only two BU players have reached the 1000 point plateau BEFORE their sophomore seasons were completed. Name them.

    Question #2......
What member of Bradley's 1000 point club actually scored even MORE points in Division I basketball, but he scored them for another D-I University?

    Question #3.....
Name TWO ex-ISU players from Central Illinois, who left and transferred from ISU, then transferred to Illinois Wesleyan, and gained All-Conference status there?

Lastly, for anyone who gets all three right....here is the tiebreaker........
***How many points will Jeremy Crouch score tonight?
2nd tiebreaker just in case there still remains a tie...
    ***what will be the attendance??

    Here are my answers........

    1) Chet Walker and Paul Unruh
    2) Steve Kuberski
    3) Chad Altadonna and Mike Vandegarde (or was it Sam Skarich and Todd Wemhoener?)

    ....Crouch gets 18
    attendance is 11,429

              H Hawkins--Anthony Parker??
              Curtis Stuckey??
              Jack Sikma---Corey Koon??

              22 pts for Crouch
              11,396 to see it live

These are just guesses as I can't find a thing on the internet with past NCAA stats which just infuriates me. If anyone knows any sites with archived NCAA individual stats, please let me know.

I sometimes try Basketball-Reference.com but its very hit and miss on college statistics. A good ole BU media guide would be great but of course BU's website does not include past statistics.

This pick-em gives me a headache. I'm gonna give someone else the oppurtunity to win this one and not guess.

sorry, BUBraves06, I knew this one would be a bit more cerebral, but I wanted to try something different...and see who has a good grasp on past BU/ISU history.
I am surprised some of the ISU guys didn't want to take a crack at this one.
We'll go back to the usual pick-ems next time..........

                              OK,
                              here are the correct answers...

                              JJ Anderson and Hawkins
                              Curtis Stuckey
Bill Braksick (from Flanagan) and Jon Litwiller (from Morton)

                              Crouch had 12
                              and the attendance was 11,421

I had the best guess on the attendance, but catpkt is the overall winner!!

                              I will PM you
