Last Year's reaction by Porter Moser when told before the game about Bradley's Intro (video, music, coming in thru the Student Section, etc)...

    "You're F***'* kidding."

Ahhh heck, he was probably just jealous LOL. Personally, I liked the last games video a lot better than the previous ones. I think Hersey gets the biggest crowd reaction than any of the players .

I hope Dick Versace does the intro Wednesday night. I thought his "War on 74" intro last year did a great job getting the crowd hyped up from the very beginning.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

BU should hire Bob Donewald (IF HE'D DO IT!) to come back and do the intro WITH Dick Versace,
BOTH urging the BU fans to support their team like days of old!!

There's a better chance of Jessica Simpson winning a Best Actress Oscar than of this scenario unfolding.
Dinma Odiakosa 6'8 255......The Nigerian Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 37 points and 27 boards in 2 wins over Bradley. "Will Egolf is 6'9 and he had 4 rebounds. That's not good enough and he's not good enough"....Dick Versace 2/9/10

I think somebody is going to have to come out of the woodwork like Kevin Clancy to help win this game.

Jim Les is going to earn his salary if BU can win this.

By the way, I saw Kevin Clancy at the BU-Evansville game. It was Alumni Weekend, but Clancy is not a graduate of Bradley. He played for Molinari, but transferred to Loyola where he played his last couple years.

Then I saw Clancy on the bench for Niles Notre Dame in the Sunday game at the Fieldhouse against Peoria Central.
Does anyone know if he is an assistant coach under Tom Les at Niles ND? Kevin is a grad of Notre Dame (class of 1998 ).
The Notre Dame website lists Tom Les as the varsity coach, but there is no mention of any assistants.

Believe it or not, Mike North is a volunteer assitant coach at Notre Dame. yes that Mike North of The Score 670 AM in Chicago. He agreed to do it in hopes of him igniting some fund-raising to keep the school afloat. There are rumors of it closing.

They should seek the deep pockets of Blackhawks Pres John McDonough as well as Bears Chairman Michael McCaskey. they both have the deep pockets to keep the school running and are Notre Dame alums.

I knew about North being assistant coach.
He has done a lot of on-air "recruiting" on his radio show on WSCR.
He has encouraged parents or anyone who knows of a good basketball player looking for a private high school to call him or Tom Les at Niles ND.
It may sound shady, but there is actually nothing wrong with private schools recruiting kids, and awarding scholarships based on non-academic reasons. It happens all the time, and it's been done since I was in high school (a lot of years).

Everyone in attendance at the BU-ISU game will receive a free item.....

"As part of the Behr Recycling Can Koozy Night promotion Wednesday night, everyone in attendance will receive a “Can the ‘Birds” aluminum can koozy."
PEORIA, Ill. -- Interstate 74 rivals Bradley and Illinois State will meet for the 105th time Wednesday when the Redbirds invade Carver Arena for the first installment in their 2007-08 season series.? As part of the Behr Recycling Can Koozy Night promotion Wednesday night, everyone in attendance will receive a "Can the ?Birds" aluminum can koozy.? For those unable to attend, Wednesday's game will be televised throughout Central Illinois by Comcast (shared with Mediacom), beginning with a 6:45 p.m. pregame show.? Frank Bussone and former Bradley assistant coach Chuck Buescher will call the action and Comcast's telecast will continue with postgame press conference coverage.

Less than 500 tickets remain as of Tuesday morning, and this game may be a sellout!

What is a can koozy? Is it one of those can holders?

I guess I do recall such IHSA regulations. But how does Joliet Catholic, and some of the other football and basketball powerhouse private schools get kids from far outside their districts?
I recall they have had kids from Indiana on their roster.
