This kid is a stud. I watched him play a couple games at the Pekin Holiday Tournament. He gets to the rim often and effectively for a kid his size. Very crafty around the rim and a solid shooter as well. He seems not to have that "me first" mentality as well, which is great to see.
The Pekin/Limestone game next Friday should be a good one! I just may be at that one.

My alumni, Pekin, has been pretty streaky this year. I think they may be able to make a little noise in post-season play much like last year. I haven't seen them in action since they played Lanphier a couple weeks ago. Does anyone know how they've done since then? I'm stuck down at school and haven't checked up on them in awhile.

They put a whoopin' on Canton last night and won 53-26. Dragons are 9-7 overall and 5-2 in the Mid-Illini. That game this weekend against Limestone should be a dandy.
Talked to Donivine today.....working out at the gym with dad and sis.....says he is studying hard and grades are good.....he is a very nice young man and would love to see him suit it up for BU.....
ps......would like to see his sister play for the Lady Braves ...she is a very good player as well..

I know Donivine and he cares and has good grades. You will also not see without a Bball. He carries it around with him all the time no matter where he goes.

I'm expecting it to be just as good as the Washington/Limestone game a couple weeks ago!

Donovine can flat out score...His AAU team along with other Peoria freshman Andrew Jordan(Woodruff), Travis Kellum (Central), Brandon Watson (Manuel), Darren Weeks, and Codey Funk played with them a little bit. All these kids are great off the court as well not to shabby on the court. Any1 know Donovine is averaging?
