I liked the new one, too. But I also liked the older intros and it's great that we can see multiple different videos this season.

In case anyone doesn't know, it takes many hours of work to put together each intro clip that lasts 20 to 30 seconds. Not to mention the time to track down ex-BU players like Hersey and Eddie Cage just to get their few second clip. Great job!

Maybe it's the disappointment of the last few weeks, but I notice a lot more criticizing of everything from who gets playing time and who we redshirt, to the cheerleaders, the songs the band plays, and the intro video. I acknowledge that it's the fans' right to do so, and I appreciate that we have a fan base that contributes great thoughts and ideas without the vicious and mean-natured rips you see on a lot of other boards. Thanks to everyone for their input.
But I'd like to hear more from those who appreciate all that Bradley does to make the experience we have here in Peoria one of the best college game evironments anywhere. We are very fortunate. There are hundreds of colleges who envy what we have at Bradley. I am amazed how many fans come from hundreds of miles away to see the games!

I am looking forward to Wednesday's game. It should be great.
    Go BU!

He's fast. And he also has a number zero on his uniform, and "zero" rhymes with "hero". Unfortunately, there are better players than Cole-Scott (Austin, Collins, and even possibly Egolf), so I can't figure out why he gets so much court time.

I understand your point Coach...but people have opinions which are said in different ways...If you want a positive only board it kind of takes away from discussions.

Quite frankly it would be a pretty boring board...as long as people are respectful I don't understand the problem

I completely agree, lefty, and that's what I said in my post.
But sometimes we forget how good we have things here, and post more to object and complain. I am just encouraging posters to tell some of the things they like about the game experience. So many people put in a lot of work at the games, most of them don't get paid like the band, cheerleaders, game management crew, stats crew, and many more.

I have not criticized any of the ones you mentioned...I'm just messin now.....Opposing coaches always talk about our attendance at the Game day Luncheons .....but we still need to rebound better and play better D

Completely agree Coach. This is a great board, even though I disagree with a lot of posters, and they disagree with me. BU basketball is the only show in town this time of year and the kids are busting their tails, win or lose. Please don't everybody throw their BU shirts away.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

well considers austin collins and egolf are big men , they really shouldnt have any effect on 5'10 cole-scotts playing time especially since jim les doesnt play more than 1 big man at a time.

You should hear the guy in section 9. Sits there with his arms folded when things are going well, then as soon as something goes wrong he thinks the whole section wants to hear what Les is doing wrong.

We also need to utilize two bigs at the same time as much as possible depending on matchups.

For the sake of a debate, I would prioritize the minutes accordingly:

                      1. Matt Salley
                      2. Sam Singh
                      3. Rashad Austin.
                      4. Will Egolf- people on this board will probably disagree with this, but Will shows me more right now than our 7 footer but we are not talking major minutes with a priority this low.. Also ranking Will above DC to get game time experience to Will which should pay dividends in the future.
                      5. David Collins- he has shown me NOTHING right now....4-5 minutes tops to rest the other players in this rotation. Adjust DC's minutes upward if he shows improvement.

These prioritizations can and should change depending on performance.
Great perception to what the team needs inside. For those that think DC did so great they either were not at the game or were sitting a lot closer to the action then I was. In his 5 minutes he got 0 rebounds and for the most part just stood around watching everyone elso hustle to the ball. the 1 rebound he should have had he lost out of bounds. On D I didn't see anything to make me want to play him. At least w/ WE you got some hustle and he was at least trying and he looked like he maight have soem idea of what was going on. Besides he has 3 more years and will be a very good player for us before he is done. He can hustle, jump and may very well turn into an inside presence that would be an added bonus

DC did look lost again against UE, more on offense thought to me. He was trying to set ball screens, except the ball had already been swung to another player.

The thing is though, everybody played again for the first time in a long time and we won. Despite the bad games that Egolf and DC have had, when they play a few minutes and spell some guys, BU's record is better. To me that's all that counts, doesn't matter how you win, or how ugly it is. When these guys play minutes, BU's record is better.

                          Good post
Addition by subtraction, but it works.

The last 3 games we have used our bigs the most, have been our last 3 W's.

Personally I think it works because, once again, we used bigs to rest TW.

Well, if that's the case, then Ruff's injury has indeed cost us games! Many people around here believe it hasn't cost us that much because Sam is running the show, but if it's TCS that has gained the most then there is no question that the injury has cost this team since he has done NOTHING to show he deserves the playing time.

Yes, but the fact remains that DC's offensive and rebounding production are on pace and/or exceeding that of our starting center if DC were to get the minutes the mighty Salley is getting. I'm very much looking forward to watching Egolf progress over the next three years since he was probably the one I was most intrigued by over the summer. However, he has most definitely not shown me anymore than DC at this point. In fact, I would put him right alongside TCS at this point and that's not a good place to be in my book.

We all know that TCS playing 5-10 minutes a game hasn't been the reason we've lost. One doesn't even need to watch the games to know that. Look at a box score and you'll figure out real quick why we're 2-5 in league play, and it has little to do with Dan Ruffin's absence or any of his replacements.
