My "rose colored glasses" see us give up an astonishing opponent firld goal% game after game, 82 points in a 32 minute span(still blows my mind how that is possible), and yet all I hear is DC is a def. liability, looks lost, etc. WHO ON THIS TEAM ISN'T A DEFENSIVE LIABILITY? Every single one of these guys gets their doors blown off repeatedly...and as for soft...have you seen Matt Salley's post move? I'm not sure what color your glasses are, but methinks my prescription's better than yours. Play Collins...our D can't get any worse.

We would give up 102 with DC playing 30 min.

Yep, I agree...I wish this fascination that so many people have with Collins would just fade away quietly.

FWIW.....I don't think any of our big guys are very good...and you got to play somebody. I don't complain about bigs because they really all come up with same results...not much

Using this logic, what exactly has TCS done to show why he deserves to be on the floor? Could it be the fact that he's by far the worst shooter on the team? Or maybe it's the fact that he's shooting 62% from the FT line?
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Nope MCD... Per my earlier thread, I'm just a coach wannabee.

In all fairness, I think that TCS's current pt is largely a result of Ruff's injury.

Maybe I missed it if someone already mentioned the NEW intro.

Great to see The Hawk up there! When are we gonna see Parker?!?!

And then the intro: shorter, different lively music (was ok IMO), and highlights of this year's players and this season's games and finished with Redefining Brave Logo.

Could use a little tweeking.... I like hearing Snell calling some of the excitement over the music to highlights.... maybe other stuff people would like to add. For the most part, IMO, I LIKED IT!!!

I didn't like it. It didn't do much to embrace our tradition like the other one did. I also thought the music selection was bad. If they want to shorten/tweak it, fine. Just don't lose sight of what's important. Embracing tradition is one of the foundations of the Les era. The intro needs to show that.

You are absolutely right BradleyBrave. I agree with you. And I think the first one was and will always be the best.

We started the season without the old intro. Then we went back to it. (after it was brought up on this board - not that it had any impact on the switch)

Just commenting that there was something new. There was an effort made to "redefine" the intro. I liked it - it was ok, it didn't blow my socks off. We have a new group of players and some new coaches. We aren't the 06 Sw16 team - we aren't the NIT 07 team - we are the Bradley team of 08. We are Bradley Basketball - and this is this year's team. (that's what it said to me - and it was ok)

Changing gears - anybody else see Tom Les close to the action? He was my fave back when he played... would wait before games to hi-5 him when he came out of the locker room... and then I would run down before the action was over to be sure I had a good spot to get a sweaty hi-5 (sometimes limp lo-5 in a loss) after the game.

Once a Brave always a Brave!

I don't like the old intro...way too long and for crying out loud that season is a couple of years ago....I like shorter intro's with some quick shots of current players and be done with it....

the new intro blows even more than the original redone one.
