I more than blasted the Wessler liar column, but since then, Wessler's columns and blogs have been dead on accurate.

The banishing of vocal students at games while on break illustrates to me that certain BU administrators just dont get it. Bringing back a section such as the Molinarmy reserves would be a great idea. The tickets should be clearly designated to let people know up front about the section in which they want be seated. Lets hope the administration changes things for next year.

Have to disagree here especially after seeing some really poor officiating at games this year. --keep putting the heat on the zebras---

I just don't get it. I can't recall ever having been really mad at refs before this season, but have absolutely blown gasket like three times this year. Maybe four... tonight being one of them. Kudos to Drake for taking advantage, but I'm not sure that #5 touched the ball without taking so many steps he'd've been called for travelling while running a marathon.

Houston is a very good play and most of his moves were jump stops and not traveling...if the refs wanted they could have TW for a few more travels

I think his jump steps were travels, because he'd pick up dribble take a step with the ball, and jump on his second step.

it looked like he picked up the ball after jumping then coming down..you got three refs there and I sit pretty close to JL and I didn't see one time where he complained about that

If a local student doesn't go to a game during winter break because of where he has to sit, I don't consider him a BU fan. What will happen when he graduates. If he stays in the area, will he still go to games? Someone will have to take the place of the fans who are paying good money for seats, even if they don't go crazy at the games. They are the lifeline of the program. We all don't get in free and complain about money paying fans like KW.

Could be. I'm in row 96 or so. I still hate zebras. Even when the calls go "our way." I only like them when they are a non-factor but still manage to keep control of the game (I'm not sure how they do it).. but I thought the Mich St game was a good example of good refereeing.

I'd like to point out that the students are paying good money for the seats... $15K per year or so.

I've never been wild about Pollard as a ref but I stil think this was a tough game to call with everyone driving to the basket

I think Pollard called a pretty good game. Sometimes you get the calls - sometimes you don't.

Sorry Fish, but not all of them do. Where will they be in 20 years and will they still be helping the program. Not cutting the students up, because they have been better this season, but the locals support the program win or lose, year in and year out and take too much slack.

Thanks, fish. Actually, it's closer to $25K but who's counting? Oh wait. I am.

Chico, we get that alums and other big wigs donate a lot of money, but it's just a pain in the butt for students who go to school all year and sit in those seats throughout the season but then have to go somewhere else during break.

Donors are the lifeblood of the program, but students are the lifeblood of the game atmosphere.

Yeah..I didn't say he reffed bad...I'm just not wild about him...I really don't have much of a reason...probably made one real bad call years ago or something....one thing I like about him is he doesn't waiver..he makes the call
