We HATE The Drake.....isn't it nice to be hated? That USUALLY means you're good.
I know, but I just can't hate back on Bradley....saw my first Bradley game (in Chicago) back in the '60s....long before I ever saw a Drake game (1976). When I attended Drake, Bradley was probably the biggest rivalry game the Bulldogs had.

      Here is the link

The very first post quotes an interview supposedly with Seth Davis on-air ESPN....I can't see why so many people are unable to read that. The first post never mentions a thing about Gary Parrish.

Oh, and thanks for the compliment, but I eschew any kind of worship.
      Thanks for the help.

In any case, does Keno Davis not have a reason to be excited about a 14-1 start? Did you really expect him to go on national TV and talk about their game at Bradley instead of promoting his team and something that school hasn't seen in decades?

I acknowledged that he had the right to be excited way back in October, before just about anyone else did.

That has nothing to do with what he said on ESPN.

According to the media guide this will be the 124th meeting with DU. The next meeting with the Shockers will the the 122nd (including the game already played this year), with the next Redbird game 105th, rounding out the top 5 is Tulsa at 99 and holding, the Jays at 73.

We have played the Bulldogs more than anyone. It should be a friendly rival.

Any of the posts on that thread about Peoria/central Illinois are directed at McBulldog and not at the area itself. Well, I am not above fabricated bulletin board material. I hope all your fans are as friendly as you are, and congrats on your season so far. If you are going to the game, safe travels but I hope you go home disappointed. I am sure you understand.

Its hard to hate the Drake also....actually hate isn't even a good word when it comes to hoop rivalries.

Its just fun to really look forward to this game....extra incentive with you being in first.

                Should be a good one.

                  Post reply

                  From the Drakenation board:

DBSSD06 says:"In the MSU game, players stepped up who needed to. So if they're able to do that again at Bradley tomorrow I'm thinking Drake stays unbeaten in conference fairly easily." "Drake will be in firm control by halftime and will ride it out to the win." I think this is going to go down as another win on the road for the Dogs leading up to the Illinois State game on Saturday." JSM says:"Overall I think it's a comfy win in Peoria."

getreal 4 says:"Am excited about this road trip. It's a short ride home after the W."

I apologize, the color guy was Doug Gottlieb.

But then right after that a Drake poster laughed at the guy and gave him a link to all the Psychiatrists in Des Moines.
