            Why do you think that?

This area is a hotbed for basketball. I think it could be as successful here as anywhere. They need to put a couple Peoria area players and a couple former Bradley players on the roster.
I would be interested in getting season tickets if they put a good team together.

I looked at some of the rosters, and there are not many recognizable players. Here are a few-

Coleco Buie (SMS) plays for Pittsburgh-

Aaron Hogg (Wichita) plays for Indiana-

            Ricky Clemons plays on Charlotte-

Kellen Milliner (Creighton) plays for Atlanta-

Minor league pro basketball has trouble making it anywhere. I think Peoria being a hotbed for bball will hurt not help this league. I say that because there are just too many other options to compete for too few dollars. The popularity of BU and all the local highschools it just too much competition. Time will tell, but I'll be shocked to see the league make it to year three.

If they make an effort to get players on the team that have a link to Peoria, then I am sure there's be interest.
In fact, you can almost guarantee success if they get a couple ex-BU kids like Marcello Robinson, Jason Faulknor, Tony Bennett, etc. If the team is comprised entirely of players we know nothing of, then I can't them drawing well at all.

I was just talking with another facility operator in the area and he mentioned that to me. This morning's paper suggested the Riverplex....
