    It's a slow day for basketball news, so.....

    Yes, I saw this. Wierd.

    This made me think of Todd Zeille (mabye?) 5 or 6 years ago (?). Remember, he hit a walk-off grand slam (with the Mets) in extra innings, at Shea, but was only credited with an RBI single, as he failed to touch second base because of the insuing mob that rushed him. (holy run-on! ) That was crazy.

      If you're talking about the one from the playoffs a couple of years ago, it was Robin Ventura, I don't think it's happened since then.

        You are correct. It was Ventura. Game 5 1999 NLCS 15th inning.
