Drake just misses the Top 25, coming in at #26. That is VERY disappointing, as it would have given BU arguably it's best shot at beating a Top 25 team.

Also - A win on Wednesday makes BU the unofficial Iowa state basketball champion!

does anybody know the ticket situation for the game on Wednesday? I am just wondering if I should stop by and buy a ticket tomorrow or if I would be okay waiting until Wednesday before the game.

With students being on break there will likely be plenty of tickets. However that is the first day students are allowed back to campus for Spring Semester but classes don't start until a week later.

just boggles me. That being said I will be crouched (lol)
here by the computer speakers for Wednesday's game.
I know that you older fans seethed as a lackluster Bulldog
team pulled the rabbit out of the hat at their home.. I think
it's time for us to shine... The beauty of this season will be
caught in the blossoming of discounted players. Sam Singh

While I believe that BU has a good chance of winning this game, I am concerned about the pressure that Drake puts on the ball. IMO, we have only two healthy ballhandlers (SM and JC). One of them is a freshman, and the other will be counted upon heavily to put points on the board. I remember Ruff struggling with his ballhandling the first time or two he faced Drake's pressure. Sam could be facing a similar fate.

I think the difference in this game will come down to whether we can handle the ball against Drake's full court pressure defense.

Drake is on the road today to face Bradley. It is doubtful that Young will play against the Braves, but Davis didn??™t rule him out for ISU.
