Disappointing outcome but the loosiers better be ready when they come to the real Assembly Hall because it won't be pretty.

The play was designed for Meach but was well defended. Randle had the ball and took the shot. The game was lost in the 2nd half doldrums that this team has floated into all season long. IL loses by 3 to the 10th rated team in the country on their home court. Not a bad showing.
While this season is pretty much a goner, good things are starting to happen. McCamey is looking more comfortable at the 1. Holdren added some spark off the bench after a long absence. Tis got some real good schooling from DJ that will let him know what a B10 post is supposed to look like.
I expected worse.

I think this game identifies that IU has limited scoring options.
If you can do a good job on Gordon and White, you can beat them.
Unfortuntely, Illinois just couldn't score when they needed to but Indiana was fully beatable today, and every other Big Ten saw them exposed today.

I have been eyewitness to them losing at home to Miami-OH and Tennessee St, and on the road to a terrible Maryland team among others. They would have a tough time staying out of the play-in round in the MVC this year. Sorry if that's insulting, but it's true.
