For reasons I've yet to figure out, myself and a couple of friends are heading up to Cedar Falls tomorrow for the game. Just wondering if anybody else is going up?

I think Big Mike is going, and I'm driving up, too.
Does anyone want to meet somewhere before the game?
There are not a lot of options in Cedar Falls. I suggest the Applebees at 6301 University, a couple miles east of the UNI-Dome. Or make a suggestion!
The Old Broom Factory restaurant is where we usually went before games there, but I see that the roof fell in and they closed the place--
Here is info for Applebee's--

There is an Italian restaurant in downtown Waterloo that is pretty good.

There is also a place called The Highway 63 Diner. It has very good home cooked food. www.landaudiners.com/highway63.htm"Let's make some noise".

Those both look like nice places. I've never frequented the places over in Waterloo. Waterloo is a few miles East of Cedar Falls, it is a larger town and it looks like there are more restaurants, etc.
Are you going, braves12? Do you, or DRU want to go? Let me know, I'm driving.

Da Coach,
Can't make this one as I am commited to a company party with management. It will be as exciting as SLUs offense last night. I know you like good wine so I reccomend the Brown Bottle. It is only a couple of blocks from the Waterloo Convention Center. If you remember where the team use to stay in downtown Waterloo a few years back, it is just north of there and on the same side of the street. There is also (or at least use to be) a very good rib place in Waterloo. It's not very fancy, but the ribs are/were terrific. I can't remember the name of it (old age) but I think it was something like Rib Shack or Rib Joint. It was a smallish place but again the ribs and sauce were great. I looked in the city directory and none of the names ring a bell with me. You might ask around. The Brown Bottle has very good food and the atmosphere is nice. I think the building use to be a hotel years ago.
Have a great time and bring home a road victory."Let's make some noise".

We are staying at the Candlewood Suites with Dubl R 1.
Found this listing on cedarfallstourism.org:
Mulligans Brick Oven Grill & Pub
205 E. 18th St.
A casual dining restaurant offering burgers, signature sandwiches, homemade appetizers, salads, pastas, original recipe brick oven pizzas and a tap beer menu (16). "The Pub" side of the restaurant houses 30+ TV's and four 42" high definition plasma televisions for the sports enthusiasts viewing pleasure. A DirectTV hub for sporting events, Mulligan's seasonally purchases the NFL Sunday Ticket, ESPN Gameplan, ESPN Fullcourt, NBA League Pass, NHL Center Ice, Fox Sports Net Nationwide as well as all local sports programming. Mulligan's, where the food is great, the beer is cold, and the game is always on.
Not too far from the UNI dome ... sounds pretty good.
