Many, many games left ... but dare I say it ... This could clear the sky for the Birds soaring to the Valley crown!

From a selfish perspective, this gives us a much better chance of beating Drake Wednesday night. But I'd rather compete with (and against) each team at full strength.

I'm not sure what I want. We played a wounded animal at home and should have trounced them (like Missouri St did), and instead played like the game was already won and got embarrassed. I'll take wins any way I can get them at this point. If that means beating Drake when they're a man down, so be it.

Call me crazy, but I think BU can win all of their next 8 games heading to ISU on February 9. It's gotta start on Saturday, but if it does, I really think we can turn this ship around. Again, maybe I am nuts. Let's hope I am not!

i will call u nuts.... we havent won a game in a the valley vs the worst of the worst and 2 of those being at home but we can win 8 straight??

I'm not necessarily saying 8-0, but I think 7-1 or 6-2 is possible. It's very possible if we get Ruff towards the end of this 8 game stretch. I have no real reason to think this other than I think it's time for the tide to turn. It's just time.

Umm Ill go with realistic as us losing the next two @UNI and home to Drake, winning home to Eville losing to ISU at home. 1-3 in our next 4 with an outside chance of maybe winning the next two @WSU and home to IndyState, but realistically we will split those two so 2-4 in our next 6 with the next two at Eville a lose and home to MSU likely a lose that is realistically 2-6 in our next 8.

Hopefully is 7-1, but it will not happen with this team.

But all I want for the new year is to be proven wrong and us go on a huge streak of wins and avoid that Thursday play in game.
