They won again tonight, but the question is, how much longer will it last. The 'Birds are a good team, but I've noticed the last couple of games, they seem to be a one half team, where they seem to come strong out of the gates and start blowing a team away, but then they seem to run out of gas in the second half, and win by a much smaller margin. Tonight, they only scored 15 points in the second half against UNI, after grabbing an 18 point lead at the half before winning by 5.

I don't see them getting un-good. Poor ft shooting will eventually bite them.

I can be nothing but proud of the State of Illinois' BEST team in the State - no matter how they win.

We're talking about ISU here, not UIUC.... or is the virus shared amongst the inbreds?

        Just kidding. Silly me.

ISU is not inbred with the U.

As much as I would like to see ISU go 0-30, I have to admit they look pretty good. Probably the best in the MVC.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

I have no reason to hate ISU. Yes, they're our rivals, but they've been dormant for about ten years now. It's good to see them have some success.

Everyone knew ISU would be pretty good this year.......................I bet this has gotta be killing their former coach (Moser) to watch someone else (Janko) get the credit for something he built.

How long until Jankovich gets another gig at a bigger program?

In my ideal world, BU would finish as undefeated #1 in the MVC, with ISU #2 with only 3 MVC losses, all to BU.

The rivaly would be a little better if both teams were at the top.

I remember plenty of people on this board saying that they would be good this year right after Moser was fired and that Jank was walking into a goldmine. Now, that said, they are playing much, much better than expected.

As I much as I have always disliked ISU (hate is a better word but too many on here would get their p@nties in a wad if I used that word) they brought back and brought in a pretty fair amount of talent.

I fear the rivalry is gonna be a little hot this year. Bradley picked to do well and not - ISU doing better than picked and atop (or at least near top) the league when they meet.

Hope we don't blow our seasonal frustration out on them.

Hope Les keeps the team full of the Class that I think they are. Play ball and shake hands when it is over.

I don't see ISU doing this after we humiliate them again this year
