The season already is a train wreck. We were picked by almost everyone to be contenders for the league title. Injury or not, we should be 2-1 at worst in the league right now, right there in contention. We're under .500, 4-4 at home, have our longest home losing streak since the program's all-time low-point, and are in last place in the league. If that doesn't define a train wreck season, I don't know what does.

The only way this season becomes a true train wreck to me is if we have to play on Thursday in St Louis. The continous showing will almost guarantee this unless there is a change to the status quo.
