The NCAA to drop the rule the limited schools from playing in an extra "exempt" tournament just twice in 4 years. Since it gives schools an extra 2 or 3 games, look for most schools to seek to get into these tournaments and for more of them to crop up.

The NCAA to drop the rule the limited schools from playing in an extra "exempt" tournament just twice in 4 years. Since it gives schools an extra 2 or 3 games, look for most schools to seek to get into these tournaments and for more of them to crop up.Tags: None

Good info.
Also interesting to see that the NCAA has expanded the amount of games played in one season to 28 (from 27) along with NOT counting the Conference Tourney's as 1. Hmmm, let's see.... if a team plays in a Tourney with 4 games, then 27 other games (that's 31) plus a 3 game Conf Tourney (34) and 6 games in March... WOW - 40 games!
