The opinions on this are all over the board. Some think the NBA 19 year old minimum will hurt the Midmajors, some think it's a temporary phenomenon, some think the NCAA wil figure out ways to shift the advantages back to the big boys.
I think the names may change, but there will always be a few midmajors each year that will break into the BCS boys' party.
This article was mentioned a couple days ago, but only because of the error in the reference to Danny Granger.
They mention him only as an example of a player who "MOVED UP" from a mid-major to a major in order to play at a higher level.
but as we all know, that's not why he went to New Mexico, a move that can hardly be unanimously described as "UP" and in the succeeding years it was BU that went considerably further in the postseason.
