Ignore List

We have had a couple requests from members about the Ignore List feature on this board.

Here is how it works--
If there are any posts or posters that you do not want to see, click on the User CP link in the black banner across the top of every page.

Then in the left column, scroll down to the bottom. Next to last is a selection for Buddy/Ignore Lists. Click on that and enter the names of any posters you wish to ignore. As long as you are signed-in under your screen name, their posts will not be visible to you until you remove them from your list.

Perhaps the ignore function should be like Fight Club.

Two rules to the ignore function:
1) We don't talk about the ignore function.

Just in case anyone wonders, because of Braves4Life's suggestion, the moderators have no way to see who chooses to ignore anyone else's posts. You will be the only one who knows.

Also, when people quote someone on your ignore list you still see it. I notice a lot of times on here that people quote the full text of the person who they are replying to. If people could try to limit quoting just the first line, or the specific part of someones post, it would make reading things much easier as we all wont have to scroll down the page so much.

I tried to ignore an obnoxious poster on another board and turns out it was a moderator.
