ISU wins 49-46 in an absolutely awful game against a dreadful Shocker team. If BU doesn't beat WSU by double digits Saturday I am going to be very, very disappointed.

ISU wins 49-46 with Wichita shooting around 25% from the field. Yikes.

Congrats to ISU. 2-0 is their best start in the MVC since 9 years ago... and they got these 2 wins on the road!

This is not good ISU off to a 2-0 start with 2 road wins at two of the most difficult places in the league to play. Maybe its Drake and ISU as the national surprises. Imagine those two playing in STL for the finals in front of 5600 fans

The Birds have SIU next Saturday night. I really hope Bird Nation gets out and fills up Redbird. By the way ISU has the next 4 straight at home.

6-0 start for the 'Birds coming to Carver. Sure would be nice to get Ruff back for that game to spoil the perfect start. I'm not holding my breath though.

5598... My friend and I would probably rather get pickled at McGurks instead.

Wonder what Marshall will tell the media! If he's smart he'll say a bunch of nothing like Les did.

Well, this years history is not in your favor. So far WSU tanks 2 games and then comes back with 2 good games. So we're due for a good game LOL.

This WSU team can be very good at times, problem is it's not often enough LOL. I doubt Bradley will be able to put up a double digit win just because right now we are running an SIU style defense (limit possessions...etc). They'll probably stay in about every game but doesn't have enough scorers to pull out many victories .

Hate to hear about Ruffin . Any idea how he's doin and when they hope to have him back by? Brauer is day to day but honestly with this being his 4th concussion in about 3 years I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't come back to play at all. He's getting to the point where the risk is too great for permanent damage. As far as Clemente Marshall says he hopes he can play some Saturday, but the fact they put a pin in his finger I would think would make that very unlikely.

It's crazy looking at the MVC standings right now, good luck with the rest of your games...except those against my Shox
