Here's a sampling of some of the stuff that's been in our blogs the last few days
I have stashed it deep in the pages of BradleyFans, but you can see if any of this interests you.
    Let me know....................

some of the links won't work as this is a forwarded PM

First.........I just got a report from someone who had seen some of the BU players scrimmaging and playing in an open gym....here's what he told me via private message..............

"... got to see some of
the new guys and some ex-Brave players play. Those
in attendance were Ruffin, Somerville, Egolf,
    Thompson, Maniscalco, McCain, Roberts, Taui,
Phillips, Singh, and Prosser. Maniscalco is without a
doubt the leader of the team on and off the court
    now.
Egolf was very agressive on both ends...
Thompson has such a long reach
and a very nice, impossible-to-block hook shot from
    even 10 feet away.
McCain is small but handles the ball relatively well. Loves to shoot ...
Roberts is a straight-up athlete. Good size..both tall and muscular.... the man can jump---really high."

Jordan Prosser............new inside info from a premium interview..........

As we've been saying all along...he really, really likes Bradley and is close to making a decision.........
Not only is Bradley in the "hunt" for Prosser, see what you think after reading this.....
we hear from inside sources that Bradley is the favorite right now!!

"One school that could be flying under the radar in Prosser's recruitment is Bradley. It is near his hometown and in the past month, Prosser has been playing quite a bit with their team in open gyms.

"I like a few schools, like Bradley and Iowa. Those are two schools that I am most familiar with."

I am not sure how many people saw this, as it was NOT posted.
When we got the commitment from Milos Knezevic, I sent an e mail to a couple friends I have in and around Las Vegas, and asked if they could forward to me any comment/report about Milos that might show up in the local press.........

Here are some comments from people who know and have seen Milos................

"Milos is a solid 6' 8 and 215 lbs. He just turned 18 a few weeks ago. I have known Milos since he was in junior high...
Milos' strengths are his interior footwork and low post moves as well as his ability to step out and knock down the 3. Milos is also an excellent ball handler and passer for a player his size...
Milos is an extremely hard worker and works out daily impoving his skills and plays very hard.

--here's some new video on Donivine Stewart

He has an offer from Illinois.

--I have to admit, I keep finding it funny and yet sad, how badly the Kelvin Sampson hire messed up Indiana.
But it's not like they weren't warned. Even hacks like you and me told them loudly through our message board posts, that they should never hire the guy.

But here's what keeps bugging me, and this is why I think all the stuff the IU president is saying, is just self-serving and trying to deflect the blame all onto Kelvin Sampson.

"Sampson a mistake, IU leader tells NCAA"

    "Sampson Shouldn't Have Been Hired"

"IU's Greenspan should exit now, not in December"

It's that I just can't see why they are only NOW taking this point of view.
Everything they needed to know about Sampson was not only evident at the time of the original hire, BUT--
when their own hired agency found Sampson was committing the same violations at IU as he did at Oklahoma, way back in April of 2007, then why did they continue to let him recruit, land new players, and then coach essentially the entire 2007-2008 season?

I ask, why didn't they realize hiring Sampson was a "MISTAKE" back then? This is what makes they admission now seem hollow.
I am convinced that everyone from the university president to the AD to the coach himself wanted only to get the best players, and win as many games as they could, and that the cheating only became improtant when they got caught, and now faxce penalties.
I think they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar, and are only apologetic because they hope it'll get them a lighter sentence from the NCAA.

    ----Here's A Daniel West Followup---
Here is a very interesting observation from a guy who watched the Rocky Top League, a summer league in Tennessee that all the University of Tennessee kids play for.
Tennessee got a committment from Bobby Maze, who was kinda sent packing by Maryland, and Maze is expected to be tennessee's starting PG.
Daniel West, ex-Bradley commit, is expeted to be the backup point guard.
On a particular night (the UT players are not all on the same team...), Bobby Maze had 35 points, Scotty Hopson 38 points, Tyler Smith 31 points, and then this comment....
    "Daniel West: 2 points
The kid played about the entire game and is on the same team as Tyler Smith. Tyler and Chris Conner (Maryland Eastern Shore) each had 31 pts. and got most of the touches but West was outplayed by some of the high school players at times, including Skylar McBee from Grainger Co. and a Ginobli-type Brazilian named Elmar Kuli-Zade who was no taller than 5-9 and slashed around people all night long. If he's Maze's backup, their depth goes downhill fast, like, off a cliff."

If this kind of report is accurate, then maybe BU was right to let this kid slide to Tennessee...

]---how about this??? Daniel Ruffin's brother, AJ Guyton is attempting a comeback!!
AJ is attempting to make the Washington Wizards' summer league roster!
    "Wizards filling summer roster
Georgetown point guard Jonathan Wallace and George Mason forward Will Thomas ...
will attend a summer league minicamp with the Washington Wizards ...in an attempt to make the team's summer league roster...
... former Indiana standout A.J. Guyton....
also are expected to try out for the team....The Wizards will release the final list Monday."

Hey, if you ever want to find another Division I home website for their basketball team, here's a very helpful site

It is from SIU-E but it's a single page with all the D-I websites.............check it out or save it
Page Not Found (404): It looks like you're lost... The page you are looking for no longer exists.
