This just makes our loss feel even worse.

Road teams go undefeated today. On the one hand you could not feel that bad since 3 other teams (including 9-1 Creighton) lost home games. On the other hand, you could say we missed an opportunity to go a game up on half the league home/road wise. I'm personally of the mindset of just worrying about us, because there's a lot to worry about.
        Onward and Upward!

Right on - IMO as well.

I always put us first.... and then if things are going well for us, then I look for other pieces of the puzzle around us and see how they are doing and how they can help/hurt us.

Right now - we need to look inward and at ourselves. Forget about whatever else is going on elsewhere.

We were bad today but the fact about this team and our program is we simply do not give up. This team has seen some serious big time deficits and in every game they have made a comeback. We are not going to win any games playing the way we did today but if we make any shots we will win games.

Right now if we can tread water in this conference there is a definite chance. This might be a year were the conference champ is only a few games over .500 within the conference.

The facts of this team are troublesome:

-With each passing game, Buescher's absence becomes greater
              -No solid game preparation
              -No leadership
              -No intensity
              -No defense
-Poor development of interior players (bad assistant coaching hires? playing the wrong guys?)

Sure wishing we hadn't redshirted Thompson. Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing for us that he is. But think he is a missing piece, if JL won't play Singh. IMO, Singh is the perfect player to throw at Coleman. . .

All 4 MVC road teams won--

I watched the ISU-Creighton game, and ISU was impressive. They made a lot of tough shots, and yesterday's games seemed to prove it's all about making shots. The 4 home teams that lost just didn't shoot well.

Guess we'll see when you come calling? Your team is down the tubes for this season & appears to be in a steady decline from their recent NCAA Dance days. Don't throw rocks unless you can stand being hit back with a bigger one!

                      OK...Syc.........you're on....
I for one, don't think the season is tanked for BU just yet, as Saturday's 2nd half was a little more reflective of how BU might play the rest of the season...

I have a gift certificate for five bucks to Kentucky Fried Chicken that says BU will sweep the season series with the trees.
You got some McD's you wanna risk??
Or maybe throw in an autographed $5 phone card signed personally by Kelvin Sampson??

You're on..................although I'll make it Buffalo Wild Wings vs. Kentucky Fried. Can't do the calling card with "Cheater Sampson" though. I called him and asked him if o.k. to set-up a 3-way call with you ................and he hung up" ??????????

Our Sycamores have more proving to do to prove they are much improved over the last few seasons. I do think they are coming around and should be fairly solid by the couple of times we get to see your Braves. Think our being the Valley Whipping Boy days are over? We will see in the next couple of weeks if we have come far enough yet?

On a side note: The loss of Ruffin & our loss of Moss a couple of seasons ago are eerily similar. We won 10 straight with him & lost about that many without him.

I know it is still too early to call this one....but I think my Chicken Dinner looks pretty secure right now!!
