  • Final score UNI 59 BU 46

In my 15 years as a fan, I haven't seen such an awful team performance as the 1st half of this game. I thought the 16 we put up homecoming against e-ville when Mo was coach was bad....we are so incredibly bad...words can't put into context. 4-24 in the 1st half....we might not win a GAME without Ruffin...this team has NO STONES!!!!!! NONE!!! MATT SALLEY!!! WHY IS HE ON THE TEAM????? WHY IS HE STARTING?????

The "team" is really, really bad. It's pretty evident how horrible we are without Ruff (and how good he really is). This year is done and next year is going to be garbage. See you all in 2 or 3 seasons!

Not having DR did not affect the outcome of this game. SM filled in well. Horrendous shooting was the primary shortcoming.

I think that no inside game to rely on was the biggest shortcoming.. When the three's dont fall we are toast.

Rashad Austin needs more playing time.

Unless Rashad can knock down threes, there is nothing he could do to help. Virtually all the missed shots were open shots, but Bradley was just 6-29 from three (1-12 in the first half). The game was still a 6-7 point game with a couple minutes to go brfore BU had to start fouling. If just a couple more of those thress went down, the game could have been different.
I know UNI is a good rebounding team, but Bradley was outrebounded 49-27 which is ridiculous. UNI scoerd on a bunch of those 12 offensive rebounds.

We are going to be playing in the tourney if this keeps up.

Teams can win when the lose their starting PG and leading scorer. Wisconsin won on the road today against a ranked team under those circumstances. I guess it was to much to ask for Bradley to win at home.
                Can we start winning soon?

we have no strength to rebound nor do we have outside shooting (Crouch is looking like a repeat of his poor Sophomore year). we will be lucky to finish 8th or 9th in the MVC this year

Sam played well. He had no assists, but that was hardly his fault. If the other players would have made a few shots, the assists would have been there. Also, because of DR's absence, they played a lot more of the weave, which isn't going to lead to as many assist opportunities for the point guard.

We just really needed someone off the bench to step up and give us something, but it didn't happen. The entire bench production was 2 points and 5 rebounds.

DC you know and I know RA isnt in the game to hit threes... RA at least gave us some inside presence today... Not saying RA would have been the diffrence today at all... but from what I saw today, RA needs much more playing time.

I said this before that if we do not change our offense that we are in trouble as the weave is terrible to run when you are behind and all we do is pretty much shoot 3 point shots ; unles we make some changes it appears we are headed for the thurs. night playin games and even with a healthy Ruffin by then our chances our bad as it is very hard to win 4 games in a row, I cannot remember being this disgusted about Bradley basketball for a long time .

I don't care what anyone says, if Ruff was playing, we would of had way more than 9 points in the 1st half. At least Ruff has the quickness to get inside and draw the foul, SM is SLOOWWWWWW and can't drive worth a darn. He kind of reminds me of Philly's Andre Miller for a PG. Just kind of a good ball mover but can't make his own shot. Gets maybe 5-8 shots a game and the rest is just ball moving. This offense needs someone to move the ball inside and dish out for some better perimeter shots. NIU hounded us on the perimeter all game. That doesn't totally explain the 17% FG in the 1st half. Absolutely horrible, probably a record or close to it. I was looking forward to a good Valley season but i'll be happy with whatever wins we get as it'll likely be over before Ruff gets back in about a month. 3 straight losses at home, probably won't even bother watching the road games. Be lucky to shoot 20%.
