Pregame notes from BUBraves.com
PEORIA, Ill. -- After posting a 7-5 record against a stiff non-conference slate, Bradley will open the Missouri Valley Conference portion of its 2007-08 schedule Saturday afternoon by hosting UNI (8-3) in a 2:05 p.m. contest at Carver Arena.? Saturday's game will mark the third consecutive season the two teams will have faced each other in the league opener and thus far the home team has successfully defended its home court to start the Valley season.? Bradley opened the 2005-06 MVC campaign with a 68-60 overtime victory against the Panthers at Carver Arena, while UNI returned the favor with a 76-65 win Dec. 27, 2006 at the McLeod Center.? Bradley owns a 24-11 record in the all-time series against UNI, including a 15-2 home record against the Panthers.

If Ruffin does not play, Warren and Wilson really need to pick up their scoring!
This would take some of the pressure and double teams off Crouch, who hopefully could start nailing some shots.
We also need our Bigs to be BIGS, not the excuse me,i'm sorry guys, they have been portraying.
Your opponent is not your friend and probably does not even like you!
Gees guys get pissed off!

I think given better looks, he is our best outside shooter, with or without Ruffin.

Grassman is right about our bigs playing way too soft; when our inside players decide to play with a chip on their shoulders and start contributing more then JC will start to get more shots and will get his scoring ave. up ; it is time for our players to decide how bad they want to win a valley championship as it is up for grabs with not one clear cut favorite and it is up to everyone of them to go out and win these games by playing tougher and harder then they have lately because they showed what they were capable of against Mich. St. .

[quote=shaunguth;55031]I don't disagree with that, just pointing out that he hasn't exactly been missing his shots. This team is a long way off from having JC average near 20ppg when there is NO inside game at all and not much of an outside game either with Ruffin out.
I think that was my original point

BU favored by 6 tomorrow over the Panthers. I don't know if the oddsmakers know about DR's injury or not, but either way I think the Braves are going to respond tomorrow in a very good way. It's time for this team of newcomers to grow up and stop feeling sorry for themselves.Onward and Upward!

The team is fine...the FANS need to pick it up though.
