This year's selection committee

Call me crazy, but I think we have some friends on this committee this year. I like the fact that George Mason's AD is the chairperson. I think he knows as well as anyone what a quality mid-major program can do in the tournament. I also like the fact that we get his conference's champion at home this Saturday, and possibly his school at home for the BracketBuster.

I also think we may have a friend in the Horizon League commissioner. While 2-2 isn't as good as we would have liked against his league, winning at Wright St should elevate us above just about everyone in his conference who might contend for an at-large, with the obvious exception of Butler.

How about we start playing like we are capable of and winning the conf. championship and the tour. and let all the other teams sweat out selection sunday as we would have the automatic bid; it is time for our players to step up and win this league as it is there for the taking.

We are very due, plus I really want the Conf Tourney, enough close calls. I hate only seeing 1980 & 1988 as our MVC tourneys.
