Let's have a little fun... Starting Line-up

It is my contention that this is not the line-up Les invisioned for this year when looking down the road. Just for kicks, what would this line-up look like without the defections (players leaving for better pay, attitudes, drug use, etc.)? Those out there that want to rip this thread, just ignore it. For any others, let's play and even see if we can remember the players... I'll let someone else start. Also, would we be better or worse record-wise? Please take this as a light-hearted post and don't jump my ### for bringing it up.

One of the moderators please delete this thread and kick me off the board for starting it. I mean, why would such a thread ever be started? What was I thinking? Why would we want to talk about these players that left? I mean, they are gone and I was wrong to bring it up. I confess that we should forget about them and move on.

Oh, and by the way, IF NOBODY CARES ABOUT THIS TOPIC THEN WHY IN THE _____ ARE THERE ALWAYS POSTS UPDATING THE BOARD ABOUT HOW THESE PLAYERS ARE DOING (i.e. Fears, Williams)? So, to all of you who thought my thread was stupid, but have been at the same time reading, posting and/or starting all the threads about Williams, Fears, etc., spend a moment and reflect...

Great post!!! Other than the rules violations, I'm sure Coach Les invisioned something closer to what you have. That's a top 20 team there guys. I just want to see a year when our coach gets to play the players he originally recruited and was counting on instead of scrambling around finding guys like Austin who apparently have no business being on a DI team. This year just seems so much like the pro football strike year when replacement players were playing... I am sorry if any of the players are reading this and may get offended, but this is how one fan feels and I will feel that way until proven otherwise. Opps, I think I am going to get in trouble for this post...

I still have not read anything of why DC was on the bench the whole 2nd 1/2 of the Butler game.
If you ask me Salley starting does not make our team better. I'd rather bring some O in at first to open things up and we all know MS can't hit a shot unless he is all alone andeven then he has problems. I like his hustle and he does play decent D. We need another player that plays like TW but is 50 lbs bigger and 5" taller. If we do not play DC we'll never find out if he could be our missing link.

I hope DC's game matures between now and March because without a big even if we get in the Tourney we'll get spanked real quick!
