• Message Board?

What's happened to the PJ Star boards?
I got to the site they were and everything is locked, no new posts since the weekend.
Have they moved? Are they defunct?

Is anyone else having trouble with thenew board? It takes forever for it to open, and I have been unable to read any of the new posts.

I went there once a long time ago. The kool aid tastes better over here.

Every page associated with the Journal Star from "Pjstar.com" right down to the message boards have always plodded and stalled fo rme. I used to think maybe it was my browser but after seeing the same ting at work and at libraries, I am convinced it is of their doing.
It probably relates to the time it takes to install popup programming and cookies into your files every time you go there, and I see that other people find the same results.

Try this:
Click on each of these three links and start counting until the page is fully viewed, here is what I find

www.pjstar.com - it took 12 seconds
www.pjstarforums.com/board - stalled out and I gave up after 30 seconds, never did fully plot.
https://www....aph.com - still slow, but only took 6 seconds
https://www....ans.com - less than two seconds - good job guys!

I only read the PJstar board, but I have never had any problems there.
