I am not sure about the shop at the Shoppes at Grand Prairie.
Are the flags they are selling the red ones with the plain "B" and "U" or are they the logo flags "BU braves"?

All could be true, all could be false. My guess is that he's at his fortress of solitude breaking down the schedule and all scenarios involving the RPI, Pomeroy projections, and the chances of an at-large bid. When he decides to return is anyone's guess.

How about Bradley's new mascots could be Captain Brave and Chief Justice.

Captain Brave could have an obvious Superhero type outfit complete with a cape and a giant shield with BU on the front. Chief Justice would have a long flowing judge's gown, but it would be red and white, and he could have a giant inflatable gavel. These two would roam the sidelines ready to save the day or pass judgement on questionable referees. Plus, we would still have a chief,(so to speak), thus still have a Chief's club.
      Talk about redefining BRAVE.

Forget the gigantic inflatable gavel! How about a real one. "Justice" could stand under the hoop and wield it on behalf of the fans. He could even give one of our own players a deserving "crack" on the melon after a boneheaded play or two.

Amazing idea. I love it. Sarcasm or not, I think some brave students should take this up and make it happen.

You know, at first I was just joking around, but after laughing, then discussing it here at work, the idea is sort of growing on me. Anyone else have any thoughts on it?

Actually, that is about the best idea of a mascot I have heard so far. You should email president Glasser!

I'm a comic-book nerd, so I love the idea of having our mascot be a Captain Brave superhero type character.

But I'm also torn about it being a little hokey. Then again, aren't all mascots in some way hokey?

I can;t get over the idea of a giant gavel to be swung at the MVC refs.
