I recall that Wright State had a 9 point lead with around 6 minutes left in the game. Bradley clamped down on defense, and tied it at 58-58 at the end of regulation.
Huge 3 pointers late and in the OT by Sam, Theron, Ruffin and Crouch, and good rebounding work by everyone.

There were about 100+ Bradley fans there, and they were loud, and might have made a difference when the Braves could have folded. There was a large contingent of fans from Indianapolis who seemed to know Bradley's #24.

I have to give Brad Brownell and Wright State some credit. Their team this year does not have as much talent as last year's, and they lack size & height. And they played freshmen and sophs a lot. But they are very well coached, and play good defense.
I expect WSU to remain a force in the horizon for as long as Brownell is there.

The BU team was planning to stay the night in Dayton and return by charter flight tomorrow morning. They all have final exams the rest of the week.

If anyone is comtemplating going to the Butler game next Wednesday, please make your plans and go. The team needs the fans' support! Let's get a big crowd at the Hinkle Fieldhouse!

Yeah, their defense was not bad, but they played better when they needed to. They need to play better defense for all 40 minutes, not just the last 6, though it was their shots that let them down until that last 6 minutes and overtime burst.

If they thought Wright St's defense was tough though, wait until they play Butler next week! 60 points might be enough to beat Butler by 10 or more points!
